Today I went to my parent’s house to visit my 11 year old sister and was a little worried when she was pouting in her room. I asked her what was wrong and she continued pouting, “I have been 11 for a week and I STILL haven’t got my letter from Hogwarts.” Made my day. MLIM.

Today, I was appalled as my friend told me that the first time she read “that vampire book” she enjoyed it. Seeing my face, she quickly replied “I don’t anymore though. And don’t look at me that way, even Hermione fell for Lockhart at first!” I have never heard such a good excuse.

There is a new boy in my spanish class. He just moved her from Surrey, England. He has messy, black, longish hair and he has the most beautiful green eyes. When the creepy-stalker movie came out, I worked at the movie theater. There was always girls coming in with those “team shirts”. One girl came in with a Harry potter scarf, cloak and wand and a shirt that said “Team Cedric”. The Edward had been crossed out. I gave her a free popcorn.

A few weeks ago, I went to see the movie that must not be named with my friend. In the very first scene when Edward comes on… I yell “CEDRIC DIGGORY! A few months ago, I received my math textbook. On the first page, it said, “The Property of the Half-Blood Prince”. All throughout the textbook are potions instructions, spells, and notes between Harry, Ron, and Hermione. It makes math worth it.

My English teacher assigned us a paper in which we had to talk about how a certain community in society is discriminated against. What was my topic? The unfair treatment of Slytherins. Yesterday, I was playing around with my new web browser, Opera. I found out that it has voice commands. I can now say to my computer, “Mischief Managed” and Opera will close, “Reducto” and the window gets smaller, and “Avada Kedavra” to delete letters. Best. Web browser. EVER.

Today, the new school principal came into my math class to observe how the new teacher works. She kept on making interruptions by fake coughing “hem hem”, like Dolores Umbridge. I was excused in the middle of class and mumbled under my breath “Give her hell, Peeves”—she heard me and said “Fifty points form Gryffindor”. Our school is in good hands.
